PARIS GALAXIES, A VISION FOR THE GREATER PARIS, is a creative and prospective research project developed by LIID / Laboratoire d’Ingénierie d’Idées (Idea Engineering Lab – www.liid.fr) since 2008.
It is conducted by Raphaële Bidault-Waddington (artist and founder of LIID) with the input of Professor Bernard Darras (Institut ACTE – Sorbonne University), Brigitte Borja de Mozotta (Head of Design Research, Paris College of Art), and Magda Jarvin (urban ethno-sociology teacher at PCA).
Paris Galaxies creative hotspots field inquiry is currently being performed by Ayan Bihi (BA sociology and in the process of becoming a Critical Designer at ENSCI-Les Ateliers, Paris) and Antoine Le Pessec (Social Scientist and Urban Planning Cycle at Science-Po Paris). The inquiry also includes the input from a selection of international students from the Paris College of Art (as part of the Design Management, Globalization and Sustainable Development program run by Alice Peinado).
A broader community of accomplices, persons or structures, is currently growing around the core Paris Galaxies team.
