Urba+ Association, the alumni network of the Institut d’Urbanisme de Paris, invited Bidault-Waddington to present the Paris Galaxies project on June 11, 2014, at the Institut d’Aménagement et d’Urbanisme de Paris. Bidault-Waddington’s presentation took place in a meeting open to the public and dedicated to the “3 i’s of the Greater Paris Area: Identity, Imagination and Institutions.”

Other speakers were Daniel Behar, urban planning professor; Julien Niertz, head of the Metropop civic association; and Marvin Pougnet, urban planner and director of the Revolution de Paris association. Nicolas Portier, head of the Assemblée des Communautés de France, offered concluding remarks for the day.

Bidault-Waddington shared the results of the LIID’s recent aesthetic audit of the Greater Paris’s “creative constellation” (including key insights concerning its future), as well as LIID’s ongoing research into an online map of the Paris metropolitan area.
